A historic mansion along the Bon Secour River will be the site of a limited paranormal event when Swift-Cole’s Historic Home hosts guided ghost hunts Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21.
The events, scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. both nights, will take place at the Swift Coles Mansion at 17424 Swift Cole’s Lane in Bon Secour. Participants will explore the home’s interior using equipment employed by paranormal investigators while learning about reported supernatural activity tied to the property.
The mansion, located in the Deep South near waters that flow into historic Mobile Bay, has long been associated with accounts of paranormal phenomena. Apparitions, voices, unexplained knocks, furniture moving on its own and reports involving the spirit of a governess have been documented by visitors over many years.
The ghost hunts are designed for thrill-seekers and fans of the paranormal. Tickets are priced at $49.99 and space is limited.
The event is organized by Southern Ghost Girls. Additional details and ticket information are available at www.southernghostgirls.com. For more information, contact Lesley Hyde at lesleyhyde7480@gmail.com or call (205) 305-5098.
