Matt L. Brent Swader, 19, of Columbus, Ga., died Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Phenix City.
He was born Feb. 14, 1988 in Columbus, Ga., the son of Barbara Swader of Columbus. He was employed with his uncle at Columbus Pawn as assistant manager and was a graduate of Northside High School.
He was preceded in death by his adopted grandmother, Eillen Georgia Swader.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Swader of Columbus, Ga.; his adopted grandfather, Bobby Swader; and uncle, Glen Swader of Fortson, Ga.
Visitation was held Wednesday, June 20 at McMullen Funeral Home, Columbus, Ga.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 21 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Benson officiating. Interment followed at Parkhill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Joe Johnson, Zack Killerbrew, Chris Linn, John Montarella, James Taylor and Jay Portalatin.
Arrangements were made by McMullen Funeral Home, Columbus, Ga.
