Marion E. Surbrook, 59, a native of St. Clair, Mich., and a longtime resident of Foley, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at her residence.
She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Foley. She worked as an LPN at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Surbrook.
Survivors include two sons, Doug (Patricia) Surbrook of Houston, and Thomas (Judy) Surbrook of Foley; her parents, Nathan and Doris Correll of Foley; four sisters, Lois Schmidt of Foley, Martha Law of Belleville, Mich., Audrey Mausolf of Port Hope, Mich., Doris Jotske of Howell, Mich.; two brothers, David Gorrell of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Paul Gorrell of Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren, Ashley Surbrook, Megan Surbrook, Myles Bassett and Joseph Bassett; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Visitation will follow.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Building Fund.
