GULF SHORES, Ala. -- The City’s attorneys are working through the Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling invalidating the annexation of Ft. Morgan Road by the City of Gulf Shores.
"The Mayor, City Council and staff have not yet had an opportunity to review the decision with the attorneys and will have a comment on the matter as soon as the attorneys have a chance to work through the issues,” Mayor Pro Tem Carolyn Doughty said.
Monday at 1:15 on City Clerk Wanda Parris sent out notice of a special meeting for an executive session "to discuss with the city's attorneys a pending litigation" Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Erie Meyer Civic Center.
