Sunny 105.7, known as the Voice of Paradise, will host its second annual Heroes of the Gulf Coast celebration April 23, recognizing individuals whose actions have made a meaningful impact across the region.

According to a news release, the event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Port at Zeke’s in Orange Beach, bringing together community members for an evening that highlights service, sacrifice and everyday heroism. The program begins with a social hour featuring live music from Lisa Christian, followed by a plated surf-and-turf dinner and an awards ceremony honoring this year’s recipients.

The annual celebration benefits the Sea Glass Initiative, an organization working to end housing insecurity in Baldwin County. A portion of ticket sales will support the nonprofit’s mission, along with 100% of proceeds from a silent auction planned during the event.

Tickets are $75 and are available at the Sunny 105.7 studio, located at 2421 E. 2nd St. in Gulf Shores, or online at www.Sunny1057.com.

Honorees will be recognized across several categories reflecting a wide range of service, including Public Safety – Fire, Public Safety – Police, Youth Advocate, Water Rescue, Workplace Hero, Medical Hero, Good Samaritan and Good Samaritan Youth.

“We’re thrilled to once again bring this uplifting evening to our community,” said Mary Williams, event organizer and partner with Sunny 105.7. “Heroes of the Gulf Coast shines a light on the remarkable people who quietly step up to help others and make our community stronger every day.”

The event is presented by Baldwin EMC and sponsored in part by New Horizon Insurance, Baldwin Health, Columbia Southern University, Paradise Electric, Brett-Robinson, Gene's Floor Covering, Young's Suncoast Realty & Vacation Rentals, Anchor Pawn and Seacrest Furniture.
