Summer fun in Loxley

LOXLEY, Alabama -- The Town of Loxley continued its summer camp with fun activities at the Loxley Civic Center/Loxley Municipal Park.

Miss Baldwin County Katheryn Wheelhouse came to visit recently to read to the campers.

The Loxley Volunteer Fire Department brought the smoke house and fire trucks for the campers to explore.

Margaret Odom from the Auburn exchange visited with the campers and went over the dangers of the sun. Campers made bracelets that light up when there was too much sun exposure.

The town of Loxley hosts its annual summer day camp beginning the Tuesday after Memorial Day, running through the last Friday in June.
