Studio students capture 18 awards

Daphne — Students from The Studio participated in the SEACT Theatre Festival in Dothan on Sunday, Nov.13. After competing against more than 200 students from programs across the state, The Studio won 18 top awards in multiple categories.

The winning students are from schools across Baldwin County and include the following:

Festival high score (highest score in the competition)
Elementary – Brady Mae Birdsong
Advanced – Ivey Simpson & Olivia Szymanski (tie)

Elementary Monologue
First place - Brady Mae Birdsong
Second place - Macy Wargo
Third place - Levon Crawford

Elementary Solo

First place - Brady Mae Birdsong
Second place - Mary Claire Kelley
Third place - Priscilla Simmons

Elementary Group Musical
First place - "Hard Knock Life" performed by Brady Mae Birdsong, Louisa Lee, Macy Wargo, Mary Claire Kelley, Nia Thomaston, Priscilla Simmons and Wynter Marlow

Intermediate Tech - Makeup
First place - Rylie Allison

Advanced Monologue
Third place - Makenzie Nero

Advanced Solo

First place - Olivia Szymanski
Second place (tie) - Ellery Scott and Lilah Nagel

Advanced Tech – Makeup
First place - Ivey Simpson
Second place - Ayla Brannon

Advanced Group Musical
First place - "Ex-Wives" performed by Adalyn Lyles, Ellery Scott, Lilah Nagel, Lily Grace Gordon, Olivia Szymanski and Sadie Houston.
