FAIRHOPE, Alabama—On Tuesday, a senior at Fairhope High School was arrested after police investigated possible threats made toward other students at the school that day.
At about 6 p.m., March 13, officers of the Fairhope Police Department arrested Shane Morgan Moseley, age 19, for disorderly conduct, according to a news release.
Moseley’s “tumultuous conduct” after Fairhope officers contacted him during their investigation led to his arrest, the release stated.
He was booked into the Fairhope Municipal Jail on the disorderly conduct charge, with additional charges possible related to making threats, the release stated. Investigators are working with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office to determine the appropriate charges.
“There was no immediate danger to students at school today but administrators contacted police immediately after the student made remarks,” Terry Wilhite, spokesman for Baldwin County Schools, said in a statement.
