Fred Stripling, 85, a native of Cordelle, Ga., and resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was former owner/operator of the Hub City TV, worked at Brookley and then retired from Naval Air Station in Pensacola as a systems analyst. He was a member of the Robertsdale Masonic Lodge No. 821, the Scottish Rite and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Stripling of Robertsdale; two sons, Steven Stripling of Fairhope and Gregory Allen Stripling of Daphne; one daughter, Angela Duff of Daphne; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
The family requests memorial donates be made to the American Cancer Society, 1040 Stanton Rd, Suite 201, Daphne.
