FOLEY, Ala. — A person or persons unknown have run up purchases of approximately $1,700 on a stolen credit card, a Foley Police Department official said this week.
According to Lt. David White, commander of FPD’s Criminal Investigative Division, a gas credit card belonging to South Alabama Commercial Laundry has been used 37 times between Dec. 22, 2009, and Jan. 20, 2010. White said the card has been used mainly at convenience stores in Baldwin County.
Police have a convenience store video from Stapleton that was taken on Jan. 16 that shows a black female using the stolen card.
“She is the only suspect we have,” White said, but noted the video shows another figure at the gas pump.
The suspect is believed to be in a white F-150 pickup, White said.
Anyone with any information concerning this incident should contact Scott Baxley at FPD. The number is 943-4431.
