State Rep. Fidler hosting post-session town halls across Baldwin County

Posted

State Rep. Jennifer Fidler will host a series of town hall meetings in Baldwin County following the conclusion of the 2026 Legislative Session on April 9, offering residents an opportunity to hear updates and share feedback on state issues.

The meetings are open to the public, with priority given to constituents in State House District 94. Baldwin County residents are encouraged to attend and participate in discussions about the recent session, including raising concerns, asking questions and offering ideas.

Fidler has scheduled three sessions, all designed to accommodate varying schedules and maximize community participation.

Two meetings will be held Thursday, April 30 at the Fairhope Courthouse, located at 1100 Fairhope Avenue in Fairhope. The first session is set for 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by an evening session from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A third meeting will take place Wednesday, May 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Community Hall in Magnolia Springs.

Town hall meetings are a common way for legislators to maintain communication with constituents outside of the regular session, particularly after adjournment, when lawmakers often review passed legislation and gather input ahead of future policy decisions.

Residents of District 94 are especially encouraged to attend and engage directly with their representative as she outlines key developments from the 2026 session and listens to community feedback.

Fidler is running unopposed in next month's primary and will not face opposition from a Democrat in November.
