Stanley Willard Walker, 76, a native of Satsuma and resident of Foley, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013.
Stanley was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Rene Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy Walker; sons, Stan Willard Walker II (Brandy) of Fairhope and Matt Ford Walker of Houston, Texas; daughters, Cyndie Lyn Rowlett (John) of Thomasville, Ala. and Georgia Ann Sherengo (Robert) of the Cayman Islands; grandchildren, Johnny Rowlett, Meagan Lyn Rowlett, Blake Stanton, Brent Curtis Lewis and Erica Nicole Lewis; brother, Johnny Walker (Joyce) of Spanish Fort; sister, Georgianne Lapp (Dick) of Kingwood, Texas; son-in-law, Milton Lewis of Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, from 9 until 10 a.m., at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, with funeral services at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to ALS–Lou Gehrig’s Foundation.
