Stanley Eugene Bundy, 62, a native of Escambia County and a resident of the Phillipsville community of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was a multi-craft maintenance supervisor (retired) with Reichhold Chemical Company and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a brother, O.J. Bundy and a sister, Sarah Mosley.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Baggett Bundy of Bay Minette; son, the Rev. Stanley Ray (Amy) Bundy of Florala; two grandchildren, Adam Ray Bundy and Caleb Seth Bundy of Florala; three brothers, Ollie (Phoebe) Bundy and Sollie (Carol) Bundy, both of Robertsdale and Jerry (Karen) Bundy of Bay Minette; and three sisters, Marie (Tom) Hines of Pell City, Connie (Don) Price of Century, Fla. and Elaine (Freddy) Mosley of Stapleton.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette and begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 at First Assembly of God Church in Atmore. Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. the church with the Rev. Don Davis, the Rev. Ray Bundy and the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at James Family Cemetery in the Phillipsville community.
