St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Elberta recently held VBS and raised over $190 for Concordia Gospel Outreach Ministry, an initiative to help bring the gospel of Jesus to children who cannot afford Bible-based books. The children at St. Mark’s will continue to help with this mission project this summer as they meet each Sunday for Sunday School. St. Mark’s is located on Main Street in Elberta with Sunday services at 7:30 and 9:45 and Bible study for all ages at 8:45. Informal worship takes place each Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
