DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne High School Agri-science Department set its two-day event for March 26 and April 2, from 7 to 11 a.m. each day at the greenhouse behind the school on Lawson Road.
There will be many spring bedding plants and vegetables. The Lake Forest Garden Club is sponsoring the plant sale and members in their colorful aprons will assist guests; students will load the plants into patrons’ vehicles.
Sale proceeds are used to support agri-science programs such as the many contests the students take part in through county, state and national events, as well as community beautification.
The Daphne FFA chapter recently celebrated National FFA Week, which included an assembly for all Baldwin County FFA members, with FFA national vice president, Tiffany Roger, as guest speaker.
