Spring was in the air on Friday as students and parents enjoyed “A Night at the Carnival” at Alabama Gulf Coast Christian Academy in Summerdale. Games, food, a bouncy house and a Scholastic book fair were available from 4-7 p.m. and about $1,000 was raised and will go to fund various school projects. Ben Coxwell, AGCCA teacher, received the most votes and was the lucky recipient of the “pie in the face” contest held on Thursday. Bonnie Coxwell, AGCCA secretary, said his cousin was the one who got to do the honors.
