James Allen Split, 83, of Grand Haven, Mich., died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 in Orange Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Split of Grand Haven, Mich.; two daughters, Ann Rush of Grandville, Mich., and Mary Sams of Fort Worth, Texas; three sons, Robert Split of Mobile, James S. Split of Greensboro, N.C., and David Split of Spring Lake, Mich.; two sisters, Margaret Dott of Zeeland, Mich., and Marie Oosterhouse of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, Kenneth Split of Grand Rapids and Raymond Split of Ocean Side, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
