FOLEY — Award-winning story teller Dolores Hydock uses animated gestures while telling a Christmas story Tuesday evening at Foley Civic Center. Presenting the free program, “Santa is Watching, So I Better Tell the Truth,” the Birmingham resident shared several tales about the holiday season. Those stories ranged from the personal memories of her own past holidays to the comedic spoof of what could have inspired the Yuletide song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Hydock’s performance was presented by the Foley Public Library, with Friends of the Foley Library providing refreshments.
