Spanish Fort woman makes Sewanee Dean’s List

SEWANEE, Tenn. — Callie Combs of Spanish Fort has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of the South for the Easter 2007 term.

To earn a place on Sewanee’s Dean’s List, a student must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.625 on a 4.0 scale.

Combs is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Paul Vaulin.

The University of the South, also known as Sewanee, is an independent liberal arts college located on a 10,000-acre campus atop the Cumberland Plateau between Nashville and Chattanooga, and owned by 28 southeastern dioceses of the Episcopal Church.
