The Sonora Masonic Lodge #635 F&AM plans to open its doors for a series of fried chicken dinner fundraisers on Jan. 10, Feb. 7 and March 7.
The events will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until meals sell out at the lodge at 202 E. Jackson Street in Summerdale.
Organizers expect steady turnout for the long-running fundraiser, which helps cover monthly lodge expenses, scholarships and support for community and school events. Adult plates cost $12 and children’s plates cost $6. Delivery is available for multiple plate orders.
Each meal includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw, green beans and complimentary tea and dessert for dine-in guests. Lodge members said the event routinely draws residents from across Baldwin County who support the group’s civic work.
