Carrie Allan Smith, 83, a native of Hespeler Ontario, Canada, and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the home of her son.
She was a waitress for many years at Julwin’s Restaurant in Fairhope and loved serving the residents of Fairhope. With the assistance of Julwin’s, she provided food to the churches of Fairhope and Point Clear.
Survivors include a son, David (Opal) Smith of Fairhope; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held beginning at 1 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday, June 18 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Fairhope Public Library, Youth Services, 501 Fairhope Ave. Fairhope, AL. 36532.
