Nathan Harmon Smith Jr., 85, born in Pieva, Miss., and a resident of Pensacola, Fla., died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Baptist Manor in Pensacola.
He was a Merchant Marine seaman during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Nathan Hale (Patsy L.) Smith of Spanish Fort and Russell Neal (Eve C.) Smith of Pensacola, Fla.; daughter, Sandra Leigh Smith; brother, Bobby Smith of Saraland; 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Stapleton.
