George Lee Smith, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at his residence in Bay Minette.
He was a retired air craft electrician at Pensacola Naval Air Station.
Survivors include his wife, Doris E. Peacock Smith of Bay Minette; son, Danny Ray (Carol) Smith of Bay Minette; daughter, Linda (Frank) Rollin of Bay Minette; brother, Hamp Cravey of Eagle Lake, Fla.; five grandchildren, Tracie Cooper, Amanda Mitchell, Lee Anne Grdjan, Angela Hyde and Andrew George Rollin; and eight Great-grandchildren, Skye, Brooke, Tristan, C.J., Hannah, Olivia, Logan and Taylor.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 22 at Grace Fellowship Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Ray Johnson and Eloise Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Peacock, Mike Nix, Tommy Nix, Tony Nix, Jim Sanks and Craig Peacock. Honorary pallbearers were A.G. Thompson, Wendell Wilcox, Robert Branum, James Graham, Stanley Gordon and Aubrey Yarborough.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
