Helen Still Slaughter, 89, a native of Mount Pleasant, the daughter of E.B. and Emma Terry Still, a resident of Bay Minette, residing at Westminster Village, died Monday, April 14, 2008.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse H. Slaughter Sr. and a son, Jesse H. Slaughter Jr.
Survivors include three sons, William E. (Charlotte) Slaughter of Bay Minette, Robert L. Slaughter and Joe D. (Harriet ) Slaughter, both of Orange Beach; seven grandchildren, Scott Howell Slaughter, Lee Taylor Slaughter, Darren Allen Slaughter, Shawn Edward Slaughter, Mary Susan Slaughter, Rachel Hodgson Ellsworth, and Matthew R. Slaughter; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 17 at the First United Methodist Church in Bay Minette with the Rev. Bruce Fitzgerald and the Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Burial followed at Montgomery Hill Memorial Cemetery in Tensaw.
