SILVERHILL, Alabama — While several municipalities in Baldwin County canceled or modified parade festivities, the town of Silverhill kicked off the holiday season in Central Baldwin with a parade Friday night, Dec. 4.
Rain earlier in the day, cooler temperatures and social distancing concerns made for smaller crowds and fewer youngsters hanging around afterward for a little facetime with Santa as the parade rolled down Main Street (Alabama 104) Friday night.
Coffee, hot chocolate and other goodies were served by the Salty Brew Coffee Company before and after the parade.
