Shiver me timbers! Long calls all pirates on deck

New York Times best-selling children’s author Melinda Long is back with Braid Beard and his crew in their latest adventure, Pirates Don't Change Diapers.

Page Palette Bookstore will host a reading and signing event for kids with Long on Saturday. The event will take place at Centennial Hall on the Faulkner State Community College campus on Fairhope Avenue, just across from the new Fairhope Public Library.

Due to popular demand, Page Palette has scheduled two consecutive events; the first begins at 1 p.m. and is immediately followed by a second reading at 2.

There will be a “Treasure Map” given to all “pirates” who walk to Centennial Hall from Page & Palette.

Each pirate is encouraged to come dressed in full pirate costume. All will receive a special treasure.
