Shelia Ann Harrison-Hanenkrat, 63, of Daphne passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Shelia was a longtime resident of Baldwin County, and graduated from Robertsdale High School.

She had worked as business manager for Sandy Sansing Chevrolet and the Joe Bullard Co. For 12 years Shelia was the business and operations manager of Baldwin County Mental Health.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Shelia was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Harrison Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Don Hanenkrat; son, Robin “Robbie” Harrison of Daphne; his special friend, Kelly of Daphne; brothers, Steve (Liz) Strickland and Ricky (Lynn) Strickland, both of Silverhill; sister, Sandra (Rick Harris) Cook of Robertsdale; stepchildren, Jeff Hanenkrat of Mobile, Wendy Hitchcock  and Michele (Darrell) Larkin, both of Dover, Ohio and Mike (Donna) Hanenkrat of Mobile; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Shelia’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. 2013 at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
