Shelba Pipkin Graham, 71, born in Monroe County and a resident of Bay Minette, went home to be with our Lord and savior on March 6, 2015.
As wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be extremely missed in our lives but never forgotten.
Her strong faith in God, our heavenly father, will always be upon our hearts and minds as we journey through life in pursuit of a glorious reunion one day. Until that day we can rest assured with hearts full of love knowing there are two outstretched hands above praying and protecting us along our path. She will be our special guardian angel.
She is survived by her husband of more than 53 years, James Graham Jr. of Bay Minette; four children, Stephanie Graham (Clyde) Thompson, Jim (Connie) Graham, Tim (Shannon) Graham and Michael Graham, all of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Christopher, Logan, Joshua, Justin Graham and Marcus and Andrea Thompson with special mention, Joseph; five great-grandchildren, Tristan, Ana and Wesley Graham, and K.J. and Kelsey Thompson; four brothers, Bill (Sandra) Pipkin of Fairhope, Neil (Dottie) Pipkin of Creola, Myron (Faith) Pipkin of Waverly, Ga. and Bobby (Charlene) Pipkin of Creola; two very special sisters, Teresa Pipkin (Ron) Mitchell of Saraland and Janel Pipkin (James) Tate of Satsuma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special mention and love to our only granddaughter, Andrea.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ann Pipkin; and a brother, James Pipkin.
She loved her family.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 9, 2015, at 4 p.m., at First Assembly of God in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Chester Clark officiating.
Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 9, 2015, from 2 until 4 p.m.
Active pallbearers will be Charles Perkins, Jerry Perkins, Aubrey Yarbrough, Ronnie Peacock, George Graham and Ron Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Graham, Marcus Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Justin Graham and Logan Graham.
