DAPHNE -- The Baldwin County Health Department reported that two sewage spills occurred in the Daphne area Wednesday, July 15.
According to reports received, heavy rainfall and storms cause sewage to be discharged into Yancey Branch and North Fork Yancey Branch. The health department urges residents to exercise caution using these water bodies for recreational purposes. Also, thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and wash hands after handling fish or seafood.
