Baldwin County, Ala. – A nasty line of storms to our north this afternoon is dumping rapid rates of rainfall, knocking down trees and pulling down power lines. The National Weather Service has issued a 'Severe Thunderstorm Watch' for all counties in Coastal Alabama and the western Florida panhandle.
The line of severe weather is moving southward and expected to begin affecting Baldwin County by 6:00 p.m. A weather channel storm track has the storm line moving in a more southeasterly direction, perhaps largely bypassing the greater Mobile Bay area and steering its most punishing effects on the western Florida communities.
