The Baldwin County Drug Task Force and agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration made several arrests during the last few days in the Foley and Orange Beach areas of Baldwin County. On Wednesday, Investigators and Patrol units arrested Kayley Clark and Janet Williams after they were seen leaving a known drug house. Methamphetamine (ICE) was located along with drug paraphernalia. Kayley Clark ran on foot when she was stopped, but was quickly located and arrested. Janet Williams was arrested after she was found in possession of methamphetamine. Information obtained during the traffic stop led investigators to a condominium complex in Orange Beach. The information was that Christopher Barnwell was staying in a unit at the complex. Barnwell had several active warrants with BCSO and was also wanted on a Federal drug indictment out of the Southern District of Alabama.

On Thursday, surveillance units saw Barnwell drive through the parking lot of the complex and then quickly exit lot. Barnwell, who was a passenger in the vehicle, jumped out and ran before the vehicle was stopped. A manhunt was conducted with the help of the Orange Beach Police Dept. and an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency air unit. Barnwell was not located. Later in the evening, investigators received information from the public that Barnwell had made it off the island and was now in Foley. Surveillance was conducted in the area where Barnwell was supposed to be. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle leaving the area that Barnwell was supposedly in. He was located hiding in the bed of the truck that was stopped. He was taken into custody without incident. He was found in possession of prescription medications and a large sum of cash. Information obtained during the investigation was that Barnwell was trying to make it to Mississippi. Barnwell was transported to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center.

Investigators were later able to go the condominium in Orange Beach and conduct an investigation into the activities in the rented room. Amy Williams and Tyrone Gollott were interviewed and subsequently arrested after they were found in possession of Methamphetamine (ICE), Heroin and two firearms. Williams and Gollott were also transported to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Corrections Center.
