Sara Capell Andrews, a former resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of March 26 at the Suncoast Hospice Care facility in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Sara was born in Camden, Alabama on Oct. 10, 1932 to S.C. and Billie Capell, the third of five children. She attended school in Camden, Alabama, and went on to have six children of her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as two sisters.
Sara is survived by two siblings, Richard A Capell (Ann-deceased) and Jackie Sessions (David). She had six children, Alieze Austin of St. Petersburg, Florida, Kathryn Bachman (Lance) of Battle Ground, Washington, Jim H. Andrews II (Toni) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Amelia Kilgo (Rob) of Clearwater, Florida, Anna Lambert (Wayne) of Monroeville, Alabama and Robert Andrews of Gulf Shores, Alabama; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be missed by all who loved her.
The family will hold a celebration of life later this year; more details to come.
