ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Flora-Bama brings back the Music of 60s & 70s in an in-house party that originated in the late '90s by Mike Fincher who had played with Rusty McHugh.

Saturday, August 10th marks the revival of this tribute to the "music that rocked our world" inspired by the Hippie generation of peace and love.  There'll be free peace beads given out at the door on a first-come basis.  The Gift Shop will have tie-dyed souvenir “Sandstock” T-Shirts for sale!

More than a dozen great acts will be spread out on four Stages.  The tent stage entertainment line up will bring back some of the great music performed at Woodstock over 40 years ago!  The tent music starts at Noon with Ultraviolet, followed by Cornbred, the Sam Glass Band, Lee Yankie & Hellz Yeah and closing out the night with the Newbury Syndicate.

Other stages include performances by Lea Anne Creswell, the Webb Walton Band, Dave & Joe Show, Jack Robertson, Smokin' Elvis, Greg Crowe and the Foxy Iguanas.

The Flora-Bama Yacht Club, also site of next week's Smoke on the Water Beach Luau, brings out an upgraded menu with the sounds of Reed Lightfoot at Noon followed by Ben Stack.

Patrons are encouraged to come out and relax in their "hippie" threads to listen to the music of a generation that was dedicated “to the hopes of a brighter and more peaceful future for America and the World.”
