Anne Marie Sandberg, 95, a native of County Tipperary, Ireland, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Atmore Nursing Center.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Sandberg Sr., daughter, Gloria Bonamo, granddaughter, Casey Cronan; and four brothers, John Ryan, Michael Ryan, Nicholas Ryan and Francis Ryan.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard W. (Edna) Sandberg Jr. of Marietta, Ga., and Jimmie A. (Patricia) Sandberg of Picayune, Miss.; daughter, Elaine (Jerry) Brown of Amore; two brothers, Adolph Ryan of Bay Minette and Robert Ryan of Magnolia Springs; sister, Agnes Tripp of Bay Minette; eight grandchildren, Karen Ide, John Bonamo, Leonard bonamo, Joey Bonamo, Lisa Cronan Baescher, James Sandberg, Scott Sandberg and Teresa Owens; 13 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. C.L. Langford officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
