Sally Ann Batson Dumas

Sally Ann Batson Dumas, 77, a native of Hattiesburg, Miss., and a resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at a local hospital.

She was a member of St. Stephen C.E.C. Church, volunteer with Ecumenical Ministries, a member of the Nix Center and was a former employee of Gayfers Department Store.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Dumas of Fairhope; four sons, Joe Dumas of Fish River, Lee (Margaret) Dumas of Fairhope, Dan (Debbie) Dumas of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Rusty (Roxanne) Gross of Pensacola, Fla.; three daughters, Terry Dumas Davis of Satsuma, Mischa (Jeff) Marlowe of Grayson, Ga., and Melissa (Rick) Sullivan of Hazlehurst, Miss.; brother, Mike (Kathy) Batson of Columbus, Miss.; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
