William Anthony “Bill” Ryan, 61, a native of San Diego and a resident of Daphne, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at a local hospital.
He coached and taught at Davidson High School for 36 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha C. Ryan of Daphne; two sons, William Scott (Lori) Ryan of Moyock, N.C., and Joseph Anthony Ryan of Daphne; two granddaughters, Chandler Grey and Jordan Dale; two brothers, Gary Wynn Ryan of Conroe, Texas and Steve Ryan of Semmes; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 13 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church with Rev. Chip Hale officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Shell Banks Baptist Church Cemetery, Fort Morgan Road, Gulf Shores.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
