Ruth Helen Myers, 94, born in Indiana and a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Jane (Norman) Snell of Bay Minette and John (Jean) Myers of Georgetown, Ill.; one brother, Jim Bragg of Parker City, Ind.; one sister, Alice Bowen of Richmond, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leondas Myers; a daughter, Beth Jones; a son, Bill Myers; a sister, Janice Thomas; and a brother, Evan Bragg.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Smith McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City, Ind. Burial will follow at New Garden Cemetery in Fountain City.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, from noon until the 2 p.m. service at Smith McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City.
