ORANGE BEACH, AL - Spectrum Resorts and the Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics are pleased to once again partner with Gulf Coast Event Group for the Fifth Annual “Race to the Top of the Tower at Turquoise Place”, on Friday, February 26 at 6 p.m.
This stairwell race up 31 floors to the top of Turquoise Place Tower, is open to everyone and will benefit the Special Olympics of Alabama.
This race is open to the general public as well as all local and regional firefighters, police, EMS, and military personnel. Come out and test your fitness level with our local heroes for the bragging rights to the “Top of the Tower Champion” title.
“We are thrilled to once again be a part of such an amazing event, and encourage everyone to come out and help make a difference for the Special Olympics of Alabama,” says Colby Turner, Director of Revenue and Marketing for Spectrum Resorts.
Participants can sign up for the race at their station, register online at www.GulfCoastHalf.com, or at Turquoise Place prior to the start of the race. The cost is $25 per person with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the Special Olympics of Alabama.
All participants will enjoy a post event celebration in the Penthouse at Turquoise Place. The Race to the Top of the Tower is the kick-off event for the Gulf Coast Half Marathon weekend.
