Roy Eugene Harper, 66, a resident of Robertsdale and a lifelong native of Baldwin County, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.
Mr. Harper was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Miles Harper; and a brother, Toby Harper.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Harper; son, Joseph Harper of Birmingham; stepson, Clay Blakenship of Robertsdale; two stepdaughters, Rena Dempsey Zajicek of Robertsdale and Nikki Childress of Robertsdale; mother, Mary Harper of Robertsdale; brother, Durwood Sahr of Prairieville, La.; sister, Linda Ervene Lambeth of Brewton; and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Haigler.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. before the funeral service.
