Rowena Jean Murphy, age 59, a resident of Perdido Beach, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.
Murphy is survived by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Murphy; daughter, Ginger Munger of Foley; son, Donald Taylor of Daphne; daughter, Nina Goff of Daphne; son, Rick Murphy of Foley; grandchildren, Daniel Munger, Rebecca Munger, and Rome Murphy of Foley; sisters, Narissa Nelson of Bon Secour and Donnie Cleveland of Daphne; niece, Hope Chandler of Bon Secour; and Nephew Cole Cleveland of Daphne. The visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church in Bon Secour, with interment to follow at Fisherman’s Baptist Church Cemetery in Bon Secour.
