Tony John Ross, a native of Birmingham, and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Saturday, April 14, 2007.
He was former owner and operator of the Ross Food Store in Pratt City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ross, three children; his parents, Lee and Frances Ross; sisters, Veta Caravella and Mickey Ross.
Survivors include a son, Roger F. Ross of Gulf Shores; two brothers, George Ross and Morris (Filomenia) Ross, both of Birmingham; sister, Anna Ross of Birmingham; nieces and nephews.
Mass Of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, April 18 at Our Lady Of The Gulf Catholic Church, Gulf Shores.
Graveside Services were held Thursday, April 19 at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, with a visitation at John Ridout's Elmwood Chapel.
The family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Chiildrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1942
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
