Students and faculty at Rosinton Elementary School threw a homecoming parade for Capt. Jason Mann, who just returned from a year-long tour in Afghanistan with the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command of the National Guard. His unit is based out of Birmingham, but he and his wife Denise live in the area. Many family members and friends were on hand to welcome back their hero, especially his nephews, who attend RES, and his children.
