DAPHNE — Janet Freeman and Gale Colvert have launched Room Redesign, an interior design consulting service that focuses on one-day decorating. Redesign is a concept rapidly growing in popularity and has been featured on television shows such as “Oprah” and HGTV’s “Decorating Cents.”

Freeman and Colvert use what he client already has to transform the home in one redesign session. They analyze space, “shop the home” for hidden or forgotten items and then recreate he space with careful placement of furniture, accessories and artwork.

Other services offered are real estate staging, color consultations, move-in services, holiday decorating and personal shopping for interior design-related items.

“Starting over from scratch is not only more expensive and time consuming, but can be overwhelming,” a Room Redesign news release said. “The process of interior redesign allows the homeowner’s personality to remain, while at the same time breathing new life into their space.”

Freeman and Colvert are members of Interior Redesign Industry Specialists. Freeman also is a certified stager for the staging of homes on sale.
