Roger Rabren, age 60, a resident of Elsanor, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Mr. Rabren was an Elder of the Robertsdale Church of Christ, 34 year employee of Baldwin EMC, and President of the Elsanor Water Authority. Roger was a loving husband, father, poppa and brother. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Rabren; daughter, Emme Rabren (Tim) Hobbs; sons, Jered (Shannon) Rabren, Kyle (Kati) Rabren, and John (Kelly) Lyon all of Elsanor; four grandchildren, Abbie Hobbs, Emily Hobbs, Maddie Hobbs and Colby Brooks; sister, Cherine (Curt) Bystedt of Atlanta; brothers, Donnie Rabren of Atlanta and Doyle (Lisa) Rabren of Elberta and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Robertsdale Church of Christ. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Robertsdale Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 413 Robertsdale, AL 36567.
