Olivia Jeanette Hill Roe, 87, a native of Decorah, Iowa, former resident of Waukon, Iowa, and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Melvin Roe, in 1996.
Survivors include four sons, James Roe of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gerald Roe of Eldora, Iowa, Richard Roe of Woodruff, S.C., and Daniel Roe of El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Phyllis Nelson of Payson, Ariz., Doris Cook of Robertsdale and Marilyn Roe of Fairhope; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope. Visitation and a receiption will follow in the church fellowship hall.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 S. Section St., Fairhope, ALĀ 36532.
