Rex Arnold Roden, 89, of Orange Beach, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at his residence.
He was retired from Petroleum as Plant Manager, born in Pensacola, FL Nov. 15, 1917 to the late Henry Thomas and Nellie Christina Arnould Roden. He was a Lt. Col in the Army.
He was preceded in death by an infant son.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Webb Roden of Orange Beach; two daughters, Celia Roden (William F.) Dillon of Orange Beach and Priscilla Roden (Charles W.) McBride of Bidwell, Ohio; three grandchildren, Christina Faith Wade of Gainesville, FL, Rex Alan McBride and Sarah Jane Pratt, both of Bidwell, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren..
Services will be held Friday, July 27 at Orange Beach Presbyterian Church with Dr. Al Thompson and Dr. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.
