Elmer P. Robinson, 62, of Summerdale, died Wednesay, April 25 at home.
He retired from Bell South after 25 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War.
He was the volunteer director of the Marlow United Methodist Church Cemetery for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Summerdale United Methodist Church, a member of the Marlow Fish River Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Promise Keepers.
Surivivors include his wife of 41 years, Linda Geci Robinson of Summerdale; son, Anthony Robinson of Orange Beach; three daughters, Carla Robinson Buckley of Summerdale, Angela Robinson Maharaj of Huntsville and Tammy Robinson Atchison of Summerdale; brother, Lenard Robinson of Mobile; two sisters, Linda Mobley of Summerdale and Peggy Nelson of Mobile; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Marlow United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Marlow Methodist Cemetery.
