Mary Hicks Robertson, 87, a resident of Lillian, DIED Saturday, June 20, 2009.
She was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Camp Hill, to Willis Jackson Hicks and Thaddie Webster Hicks. She was married to Carl Thomas Robertson for 64 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lillian for 22 years, and was a member of the Holiday Rambler R.V. Club, Dixie Ramblers Chapter.
Survivors include her husband, Carl T. Robertson Sr. of Lillian; daughter, Tina L. (Gary) Wellborn of Douglasville, Ga.; three sons, Paul David (Martha) Robertson of Griffin, Ga., Willis H. (Shelly) Robertson of Poquoson, Va., and Carl Thomas (Cindy) Robertson of Scottsboro; sister, Martha Hicks Crimmins of Ballwin, Mo.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, June 24 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 25 at the First Baptist Church of Lillian, with the Rev. Virgil Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
