ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Robertsdale Elementary Peer Helpers lend a hand in the fight against hunger. The sixth grade Peers helped with a food drive to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas boxes for the needy. Students placed canned items on their favorite team’s table (Alabama or Auburn). A total of 775 items were collected. Alabama collected 473 items and Auburn collected 296 items. All of the students had a great time taking part in this event, which also taught generosity.
