The Baldwin County Commission announced in a news release that it will reopen the Robertsdale Central Annex on April 20 following nearly a year of renovations aimed at improving efficiency and customer service for residents in central Baldwin County.
The facility, located at 22251 Palmer Street D in Robertsdale, has been closed since May 2025 while upgrades were completed. The annex houses Probate and Revenue services, including vehicle registration, tag renewals and other essential transactions.
County officials said the reopening restores convenient local access to services that many residents rely on, eliminating the need to travel to other county offices during the closure.
“We appreciate the public’s patience throughout this process. These improvements were made with our residents in mind, and we’re proud to welcome the community back into an updated and more efficient space,” Baldwin County Commission said in the release.
As operations shift back to Robertsdale, some county offices may experience slightly reduced staffing levels during the transition week. Officials said the adjustment is temporary as employees return to their primary location.
Residents are encouraged to begin using the annex when it reopens April 20. To streamline service and reduce wait times, appointments can be scheduled in advance at https://services.baldwincountyal.gov/probateappointments.
